Role Overview

• We are looking for a Designer Intern (UI/UX & App Design) to join our remote team.
• This internship offers hands-on experience working on a real-world, production-grade mobile application used by veterinarians.
• As a Designer Intern, you will collaborate closely with the product and development teams to design intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered experiences for the Vetifi app.
• You will play a key role in shaping how veterinarians interact with the platform.
• Note: This is an unpaid internship, intended for learning, portfolio building, and real product exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and user-friendly mobile app interfaces aligned with Vetifi’s product vision.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas.
• Refine and improve existing designs based on user feedback and usability insights.
• Ensure consistent branding, typography, color systems, and visual language across the app.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and accurate implementation.
• Apply UI/UX best practices to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback constructively.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design.
• Ability to create wireframes and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for clean, modern, and functional design.
• Knowledge of mobile app design best practices and responsive design principles.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills for presenting ideas and receiving feedback.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Basic understanding of user research methods and accessibility considerations.
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design.
• Interest in healthcare, veterinary, or productivity-focused applications.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• Students, fresh graduates, or self-taught designers with strong portfolios are welcome.
