Job Description

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a Frontend Developer Intern who is passionate about building clean, intuitive, high-performance user interfaces and wants to work on a product that will be used by a global audience
  • As part of our core product team, you will play a direct and visible role in shaping Takshila’s platform experience
  • Your work will go live, impact real users, and evolve alongside the company
  • This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role, not a passive internship

What You’ll Work On:

  • Develop and maintain modern, scalable frontend components using React
  • Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive user interfaces
  • Integrate frontend systems with RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Optimize frontend performance, accessibility, and usability across devices
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve discoverability and performance
  • Collaborate closely with Founders, Designers, and Backend Developers
  • Contribute ideas to improve UI/UX, workflows, and platform scalability
  • Help shape the evolution of a global luxury-tech platform from an early stage

User Behavior & Experience Optimization:

  • Analyze user behavior, interaction patterns, and engagement flows across the platform
  • Translate insights into intuitive UI/UX improvements that enhance usability, engagement, and retention
  • Design and iterate on user journeys, onboarding flows, and interaction experiences to reduce friction
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to test, validate, and refine experience-driven solutions
  • Take a data-informed, user-first approach to continuously elevate how users interact with the platform

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of React.js
  • Experience converting Figma designs into clean, production-ready UI
  • Understanding of API integration (REST APIs, JSON, async data handling)
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals for modern web applications
  • Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-moving startup environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for product quality
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) for enhanced productivity

Additional Advantage:

  • Experience or knowledge of backend development (Node.js, databases, APIs, etc.)
  • Full-stack exposure and understanding of end-to-end product architecture
  • Familiarity with performance optimization and modern frontend tooling
