About The Project:
- itsmyscreen is an in-house digital platform to enable online listing, booking, and promotion of outdoor advertising media, including hoardings, billboards, and other OOH assets.
- The platform aims to streamline inventory management, bookings, and digital visibility for outdoor media through a structured, scalable, and performance-driven web solution.
Job Overview:
- The Full-Stack Web Developer – Intern will support the development, optimization, and maintenance of the itsmyscreen platform.
- The role involves working across frontend development, backend services, relational databases, and SEO/GEO optimization, with a focus on outdoor advertising inventory and digital discoverability.
- This is a technical role offering hands-on exposure to real-world product development within the OOH advertising industry.
Key Responsibilities:Frontend Development:
- Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces using Next.js.
- Implement reusable UI components for listings, bookings, and dashboards.
- Ensure performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
Backend Development & APIs:
- Build and optimize efficient backend services to support:
- Hoarding and billboard listings
- Booking workflows
- User and vendor management
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable backend architecture.
Database Design & Management:
- Design and manage relational databases for structured data such as:
- Media inventories
- Locations
- Bookings
- Users and vendors
- Work on schema design, normalization, indexing, and query optimization.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance.
SEO & GEO Optimisation:
- Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
- Support GEO / local SEO strategies for location-based discovery of hoardings and billboards.
- Optimize page structure, metadata, and performance for better indexing.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with internal teams including media planning, operations, and business development.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain clear documentation of code and development workflows.
Eligibility Criteria:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- (Final-year students and fresh graduates may also apply.)
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience or working familiarity with Next.js.
- Knowledge of backend development and REST API integration.
- Solid understanding of DBMS concepts and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent).
- Understanding of database design, normalization, indexing, and queries.
- Basic knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals; GEO/local SEO knowledge is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to scalable web platforms or marketplace-style systems.
- Basic understanding of cloud deployment environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
