Job Description

Responsibilities of the Intern:

• Develop and maintain custom Android Services that run efficiently in the background without being killed by the OS.
• Implement system-level permissions, including Usage Access,  and Display over other apps
• Integrate with Google Health Connect
• Build a high-performance banking-style UI that reflects real-time data from a Firebase Firestore backend.
• Bridge native Android (Kotlin/Java) functionality into our primary framework (Flutter/React Native).

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java.
• Deep understanding of the Android Lifecycle, specifically background execution and services.
• Prior experience with Firebase (Firestore and Auth).
• Familiarity with reading system-level logs and debugging performance bottlenecks
